This guided daytrip from Prague takes us to a plethora of UNESCO Heritage Sites, including the fairy tale town of Cesky Krumlov, said to be the second most beautiful city in the country after Prague. Besides visiting this stunning medieval town with the second largest castle complex in Europe, we will also stop along the way to admire the Neo-Gothic Hluboka Castle or traditional Bohemian historical village of Holasovice.

Detailed Information
Cesky Krumlov is full of hidden gems, magical corners, lookout spots, as well as medieval taverns, pubs and cafes. It has a beautiful castle towering above the picturesque city centre. Due to its exceptionally well preserved medieval town core Cesky Krumlov has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.  While in Cesky Krumlov, you will take a guided tour in the castle complex and walk up the tower to indulge in the wonderful view of the medieval town and the surrounding countryside. You will wander around the medieval streets and enjoy lunch in one of the local cafes. On the way there we will make a stop to adore the Neo-gothic pearl of South Bohemia – the Hluboka Castle with its English-style park.  On the way back I will take you to see Holasovice, a traditional Bohemian historical village that consists of 23 brick farmyards, and is also listed on the UNESCO site.

Additional Information
This trip involves a lot of walking, so it is suggested that participants wear sneakers or light hiking shoes, as well as layers of clothing. Snacks and water will be available along the way.

This full-day trip is available all year round. Kindly note that the castle interiors are closed on Mondays, April through October. In the winter season, November through March, are closed completely.

Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. By using the online payment facility on this website you accept these terms.

1. Scope 
These general conditions of contract govern the contractual relationship between you and AlenaGuide in respect of tours organised by AlenaGuide.

2. Terms of payment 
All payments to be made in US Dollars, through Credit Card payment (Mastercard, Visa & Visa Electron, Maestro, V Pay and Diners Club are all accepted).
All prices are per tour, not per person. Entrances, meals and any public transport costs are not included.

3. Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made in writing to Alena@alenaguide.com and the following must be taken note of:
Any cancellation made to a tour booking more than 14 days in advance of the commencement date of the tour is subject to 100% refund.
Any cancellation made to a tour booking less than 14 day in advance of the commencement date of the tour is subject to 50% charge of the guiding fee before making the refund.
Any cancellation made to a tour booking less than 7 days in advance of the commencement date of the tour is subject to 75% charge of the guiding fee before making the refund.
Any cancellation made to a tour booking less than 48 hours in advance of the commencement date of the tour is subject to no refund.

 4. Changes and cancellation of a tour by the management 
AlenaGuide Management reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to weather conditions. In case of a weather cancellation, weather conditions are judged exclusively by AlenaGuide Management, guests must report for the service/activity unless notified by AlenaGuide Management. The Management also reserves the right to change the itinerary subject to prevailing conditions and due to any unforeseen circumstances. (e.g. public and religious holidays, road & weather conditions or any reason beyond the control of the Company. AlenaGuide will endeavour to provide an adequate alternative, but will accept no liability whatsoever.

5. Waiver and indemnity 
While every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of all persons participating in the tour, the client, his/her heirs, dependants, agents, executors or their assignees hereby irrevocably waive any claims which the they may have against the company for any form of compensation for damages which they may suffer due to injury and / or loss of any nature whatsoever, which includes accidents caused by the client's own actions, injuries or death while on the tour, in transportation vehicles or at any place during the tour, or sickness or the death at any time after the tour.

6. Baggage
All baggage and personal effects are at all times at the client's risk and the company cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage of baggage or any personal effects.

7. Insurance
A comprehensive travel medical insurance is suggested on all tours organized by AlenaGuide.

8. Dietary requirements
Guests with special dietary problems must warn/inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements.

9. Photography, films, images, letters & testimonials
AlenaGuide reserves the right without giving further notice, to make use of any films or photographs/images/pictures produced by the client or any related person (s) during or after any of their tour for general publicity purpose without permission or a payment. The Company also reserves the right to use testimonials of the clients on their web site without permission or a payment.

10. Law
Law of the Czech Republic shall govern this contract.
