Bohemian Paradise & Kost Castle Daytrip (8-10 hours)
This is AlenaGuide’s all-time favourite full-day private trip from Prague to the beautiful Bohemian Paradise. Come and lose yourself in the labyrinth of mysterious rock cities surrounded by pine trees and enjoy splendid views of the majestic castles that surround this magical place. Bohemian Paradise is proudly listed on the list of UNESCO Geoparks and home to a large number of castles and other historical sites. At the end of the trip you will be able to lunch at a unique medieval tavern!

This full-day private trip from Prague takes us to one of the most beautiful parts of the Czech Republic - Bohemian Paradise. You will be taken on a stroll on one the most impressive paths in the area and be able to admire several castles and chateaux on the way, including Valdstejn Castle (the oldest castle in the area), Hruba Skala (a chateau standing on a sandstone rock), and Trosky (ruins with mysterious past).
Besides historical beauty, you will be also rewarded with majestic views of the area. Lastly we will visit the most impressive castle of the area, Kost Castle, where a guided tour with a local guide will introduce us to to the castle’s long and rich history, including a look at its medieval torture chamber. To wrap up the tour we enjoy a meal at a unique local medieval tavern where the service is tough and nasty, and food greasy and tasty, just as it was in medieval times.

This trip involves a lot of walking, so it is suggested that participants wear sneakers or light hiking shoes, as well as layers of clothing. Snacks and water will be available along the way.
